Founded in 2001 by Dr. Nelson M. Handal, MD, DFAPA, Dothan Behavioral Medicine Clinic has built a long-standing reputation for compassionate, high-quality psychiatric care. The clinic has earned numerous local, regional, and national recognitions, including the Excellence in Community Psychiatry Award from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
