I have a passion for mental health advocacy and providing support through an integrative therapeutic approach tailored to client needs, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes. As a prior-service Marine Corps member, I deeply understand the mental health stigma faced by military personnel, veterans, and first responders. Like many, I have faced significant challenges in life and emerged stronger. My perseverance drives me to help others not just survive their struggles but learn constructive ways to respond to their experiences, freeing them from being held captive by the past.
With a strong background in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Psychology from The Chicago School, I am well-prepared to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their readiness for therapeutic interventions at their own pace.
I incorporate a combination of person-centered therapy and evidence-based practices, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, expressive arts, and solution-focused therapy. My specific specialties and interests include supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, personality disorders, stress management, trauma/PTSD, LGBTQIA+ issues, relationship challenges, and personal growth.
