About Ursula Perry

Hi! Lovely to meet you, my name is Ursula! I am a passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic therapist ready to help you with your needs. I quickly developed a commitment to helping others overcome trauma and adverse childhood experiences, after enduring and overcoming first-hand trials of my own. With God, and therefore love at the center of my life, I quickly recognized the true healing power behind someone taking the time to help others from an empathetic perspective.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. After this achievement, I began working in Psychiatry as a mental health technician, where I was able to have a deeper understanding of mental health and the significance of treating everyone with compassion no matter how severe their case may be. This is also where I discovered my gift of facilitating transformative group counseling to clients struggling with various mental illnesses. This is also where I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I favor Narrative Therapy Approaches, as I believe that no matter how tragic life can be, you always have the power to control and change how you view it. I also favor Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Approaches (CBT) since much of the way we think influences our productivity in life.

When I am not counseling, I enjoy exercising and music. I believe in holistic wellness, practicing habits that contribute to my physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. I also enjoy fun activities and reading books on personal development. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals, empowering you to not only survive, but thrive in a life that you truly deserve to live!
