About Tracy Heroux
I was born and raised in Rhode Island until I moved from the state when I was 17 years old. In addition to R.I. I have lived in Maine, Washington State, Connecticut, and Florida. I have been married for more than 30 years, and my husband and I have five children. My family and I moved to Florida in 2019.
Prior to entering the therapy world, I spent most of my early career working in the educational system starting with 11 years as a school bus driver and then transitioning to the classroom. My main focus has always been working with at-risk students. I then transitioned to therapy where I began my career working with adults as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Therapist (PSR). I worked with people 18+ with a schizophrenia diagnoses and other mental health diagnoses. My journey then took me into the role of a Forensic Case Manager where I worked with clients with mental health diagnoses that were entangled in the judicial system and were under Conditional Release Orders.
I earned my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in June 2024. I also have certifications in Human Services and Rehabilitation and Advanced Trauma-Informed Counseling.
