About Tim Mason

Hello and thank you for your interest in Elite DNA. I’m glad you are investing in your mental health. I’m Tim and I am a licensed therapist with roughly 35 years experience in many clinical settings. I have worked most levels of care within the mental health field, including inpatient and outpatient clinics along with rehab centers, hospitals and jails. My caseloads have consisted of adolescents (14 and up), adults and even older adult clients. In addition to clinical services, I have also worked in administrative roles such as Clinical Director in varies outpatient clinics. During the last 4 years of my professional career, I have taught college graduates to become successful clinicians.

My approach to counseling is fairly simple. Most people know what they want or need to do. They just need a little help and support getting there. My job is to help you get where you want to go. I have extensive experience working with many conditions, including drug/alcohol/food related issues, anxiety, depression, and emotional/behavior regulation. I rely heavily on techniques of REBT, motivational interviewing, psycho-dynamic, mindfulness/grounding, biological aspects of emotional regulation and schema.
