Tamika H. Troublefield brings over 15 years of behavioral health experience, blending clinical expertise with genuine compassion. Starting as a Licensed Practical Nurse, she advanced to Registered Nurse in psychiatric care before earning her Master of Science in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from Nova Southeastern University.
Her work spans diverse settings, from substance abuse recovery centers to youth detention facilities, giving her deep insight into co-occurring disorders, trauma-informed care, and the complex realities of mental health and addiction. She has served at American Addiction Centers, Gracepoint Wellness, and other specialized facilities.
Known for her commitment to cultural competence and inclusive care, Tamika creates a safe, non-judgmental space where patients from all backgrounds feel heard and respected. She combines evidence-based psychiatric treatment with an understanding that true healing begins with trust and connection.
