I have always had a passion for creating positive change in those around me. I have worked with adults and have always encouraged those to create a vision that inspires them to stay the course no matter how difficult. One of my very favorite quotes is “Write the vision, make it plain.” – Habakkuk 2:2. I always remind my patients that a written vision gives you the correct directions and coordinates you need to follow to get to your desired destination. It gives you the inspiration and motivation you need to push through life’s toughest challenges.

Within the last four years, I have worked with individuals from many different environmental backgrounds and ethnicities, between the ages of 18-70 who have struggled with depression, anxiety, grief, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, gender/sexual identity, and PTSD. My focus is to show the compassion, patience, understanding, and care needed to help those as a guide through their journey to healing. I want to build a therapeutic relationship that is genuine and open and create a safe space for those who may feel unheard, dismissed, or misunderstood.

Therapy is a part of your self-care. I want to remind you that on this journey, some days will be harder than others. It is okay to say, “I am not okay” and understand that you are not alone, that we all have our dark days, and that you don’t have to go through those dark days by yourself. I want to encourage you to be kind and gentle with yourself and always remind yourself that you are loved, you are enough, you do have a purpose, and you are needed in this world.
