About Sharon Bloom
Dr. Sharon Bloom is a licensed psychologist with over 25 years of experience treating individuals across the lifespan. As the Chief Clinical Officer at Elite DNA Behavioral Health, Dr. Bloom leads the Therapy Department and a team of clinical leaders who inspire, guide, and oversee hundreds of therapists across more than 34 locations throughout Florida. Her leadership is instrumental in maintaining clinical excellence, fostering collaboration, and supporting the growth and development of Elite DNA’s expansive team of mental health professionals.
Before joining Elite DNA, Dr. Bloom spent several years in private practice in Southwest Florida. She was drawn to Elite DNA’s integrated, interdisciplinary approach to care—an echo of her earlier work as Director of Mental Health Services at the New York Foundling Medical Center for Pediatrics and Rehabilitation (now the Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center). In addition to her clinical roles, Dr. Bloom has contributed to the field as an adjunct psychology professor at Hodges University in Fort Myers.
Dr. Bloom’s therapeutic approach is individualized and grounded in each person’s unique needs and readiness for change. She blends cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques with insight-oriented work, helping clients develop practical coping tools while also exploring the deeper roots of their symptoms. Above all, she believes the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of successful treatment, and she prioritizes creating a safe, compassionate space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered.
