About Shannon Smith

Shannon Smith graduated from University of Louisiana in Lafayette in 1989 in the Bachelor of Science in Social work and began her journey as a Day Care Coordinator Therapist with patients of all ranges who were severely mentally depressed and had other mental disabilities at Terrebonne Mental Health in Houma, LA for 6 years. Later, she got her certification in teaching in Louisiana, taught life skills to teenagers for 26 years while raising her family, and retired from teaching in 2022. Shannon then moved to Florida with her husband, after raising 6 beautiful children (3 daughters and 3 sons) and started working at Elite DNA in October 2021 as a care coordinator helping others.
