About Robert Limbaugh
Dr. Robert Limbaugh is a board-certified physician in both Emergency Medicine and Addiction Medicine with more than three decades of clinical experience. He completed his medical degree at the University of South Alabama, followed by an internship at the University of Texas Medical Branch followed by residency training in Emergency Medicine at LSU Medical Center and fellowship training in Addiction Medicine through the Department of Psychiatry at Tulane University School of Medicine.
Dr. Limbaugh has served in a variety of leadership and academic roles throughout his career, including positions in emergency departments, consultation-liaison psychiatry services, addiction treatment programs, and medical directorships. He has also held faculty appointments involving the education and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows in both Emergency Medicine and Addiction Medicine.
At Elite DNA Behavioral Health, Dr. Limbaugh focuses on comprehensive, patient-centered behavioral health and addiction treatment, emphasizing compassionate care, recovery support, and evidence-based medicine. His clinical interests include substance use disorders, co-occurring psychiatric conditions, outpatient addiction treatment, and improving access to behavioral healthcare through collaborative and innovative models of care.
