About Pamela Panitz

Pamela Panitz is a seasoned therapist helping people address their anxiety, depression, and addiction and the impact on their lives. She is an expert in helping clients understand how negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors lead to a cycle of stress and self-doubt. Pamela’s strengths are offering compassion, teaching realistic life coping skills, and challenging clients for action. Pamela’s philosophy is best described by Thoreau: “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.”

Her style is a blend of proven techniques, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Trauma Therapy. These techniques help clients gain the necessary skills to manage their problems instead of their problems managing them.

She creates a non-judgmental environment to help people focus on their strengths, develop skills to manage life challenges, and get unstuck. We face many transitions in our lives. Pamela has helped clients who are experiencing life changes—such as the stress of relocating, facing career change, experiencing chronic pain or illness, codependency, grief and loss, and addiction. She supports clients as they move beyond obstacles to find hope and take steps toward productive change.
