Dr. Omar Rieche
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Omar Rieche is a board-certified psychiatrist with decades of experience providing compassionate, expert care to children, adolescents, and adults. He specializes in the treatment of anxiety, autism spectrum disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
As Chief Medical Officer at Elite DNA Behavioral Health, Dr. Rieche leads with clinical vision and oversight for hundreds of psychiatric providers across the organization. A lifelong leader in the field, he previously served as Medical Director for Lee Memorial Behavioral Health Clinic, as well as Medical Director for the State of Florida’s Children’s Medicaid and Welfare Services through Magellan Health. Prior to this, he maintained his private practice from 1996 and served as the Medical Director of Intensive Out-Patient Services at Park Royal Hospital.
Dr. Rieche is a passionate mental health advocate and unrelenting supporter of many non-profits, serving as an active board member of C.A.R.E.S. Suicide Prevention, Autism Task Force Lee County School Board and CHADD. Dr. Rieche has helped implement and evaluate mental health programs for children and adolescents and has a long history of serving many marginalized, underserved and complex populations. Dr. Rieche has provided services for children in specialized therapeutic foster care settings and has shared his extensive knowledge through trainings with the staff of the Children’s Crisis Inpatient Unit during its inception for SALUS Care in Southwest Florida.
Dr. Rieche is at the forefront of advancing compassionate, comprehensive, and patient-centered care through integrated, team-based approaches. His leadership and innovation are helping to shape the future of mental health services and address the growing mental health crisis in Florida and across the United States.
