About Nicasio Renaldo
Nicasio Renaldo is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) who works with adults navigating life transitions, identity development, and relationship challenges. Nicasio’s clinical background includes experience in inpatient behavioral health, outpatient care, community-based programs, and crisis response services in both New York and Florida. Nicasio draws from CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-focused work, and mindfulness-based approaches to help clients better understand their emotions, build practical coping tools, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Nicasio believes therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and empowering. Nicasio works alongside clients to explore patterns that may be keeping them stuck, move through overwhelming emotions with greater confidence, and develop a more secure, compassionate relationship with themselves and others. Nicasio often supports adults in self-discovery, healing from emotionally immature family dynamics, managing relationships, and adjusting to major life transitions.
Nicasio holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and provides individual therapy under clinical supervision. He is committed to creating a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported as they build self-trust, resilience, and greater clarity about how they want to live and connect.
