About Monisha Anika Holmes
Monisha Holmes (her/her/hers), MSW, RCSWI, is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern who works with adults and couples navigating stress, trauma, and the psychological demands that often accompany high achievement. She integrates evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing to help clients build resilience, develop psychological flexibility, and move towards lives that reflect their values.
Monisha has a particular interest in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma- and other stressor-related disorders, as well as post-traumatic growth, with the goal of supporting individuals in transforming periods of stress or adversity into opportunities for deeper insight, strength, and personal development.
She earned her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Lynn University and her M.S. in Social Work from Columbia University, where she concentrated in Social Enterprise Administration, reflecting her interest in supporting thoughtful, driven individuals navigating the complexities of work, identity, and purpose.
