About Monise Joseph

Hello my name is Monise Joseph and I will be an associate therapist with Elite DNA. I graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. I also with to graduate school at University of North Florida obtaining my Masters of Social work Degree.

I am a very trauma-informed care professional with ann extensive history working with patients in vulnerable populations, including families, children, teens, and adults. I also have worked with patients struggling in many different areas such as depression, anxiety, BPD, social problems/bullying, adoption/foster care, adolescent issues, ADHD, anger management, Bipolar disorder, Divorce, grief/loss, women’s issues, PPD, relationship issues, and PTSD.

I consider myself to be a client-centered therapist allowing the clients to guide and lead their own care in a nonjudgmental environment being a pillar of support for them. I truly enjoy helping others in their time of need and assuring clients are able to work through and achieve their mental health goals using many different types of interventions. I believe that everyone could benefit from therapy even to work through day to day life stressors.
