About Mia Gomez

I’m Mia, an Associate Therapist with a Master of Social Work from the University of South Florida. I strive to provide a compassionate, supportive, and collaborative space where you can feel heard and empowered to explore whatever brings you to therapy. I recognize that each person is the expert of their own experience, and my role is to meet you where you are while helping you navigate the highs, lows, and “stuck” seasons of life.

My background in case management and peer recovery coaching has given me a deep appreciation for the environmental, social, and systemic influences on emotional and overall well-being. These experiences have shaped my therapeutic approach to be person-centered and eclectic – building on the strengths and wisdom already within you. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Psychodrama, and mindfulness-based approaches.

I work with teens and adults and believe that choosing to begin therapy is an act of courage and strength, and I am honored to hold space for exploration and reflection as you move toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.
