About Maryana Ostapenko

Originally from Ukraine, my roots are in the community of Wesley Chapel, where I have grown up. Having spent most of my life here, I understand the challenges and nuances of this community, allowing me to provide tailored and effective support to those I serve, as well as understating the global struggles that come from multiculturalism.

As a therapist, I prioritize creating a safe and compassionate space where individuals feel heard, understood and valued, which stems from my unwavering commitment to helping others navigate life’s complexities. My approach is rooted in the belief that every person’s story is worth listening to and that healing begins with genuine connection and empathy. I follow the structures and techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). I also bring a holistic perspective to therapy, recognizing the interconnectedness of mind, body and spirit. Whether addressing issues of anxiety, depression, trauma or anything else, I approach each client with an open heart and a non-judgmental stance, fostering a collaborative journey toward growth and healing.

In addition to my clinical work, I am dedicated to ongoing professional development, staying up to date on the latest research and therapeutic modalities to ensure my clients receive the highest standard of care. Above all, I am deeply honored to walk alongside my clients on their journey toward wholeness and resilience. Together, we navigate the complexities of life, celebrate victories and embrace moments of growth.
