About Lindsay Ensell
Hi! My name is Lindsay Ensell. I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern with four years of psychotherapy experience working with a range of clients from early adolescence through late adulthood. I graduated with my undergraduate in psychology from Southern Methodist University. After a career working with the juvenile court system representing children and families in child abuse and neglect cases, I returned to school to transition into mental health counseling. I completed my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University.
My passion is providing patients with compassionate, evidenced-based care integrating techniques and interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). My experience is in addressing trauma, depression, anxiety, other mood related issues and disorders, adjustment issues and life transitions.
When not assisting my clients, you can find me reading, watching movies, playing video games, traveling and riding rollercoasters … or napping with my shih tzu.
