About Layna Crabtree
Layna is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern whose work is driven by a deep understanding that when one person is struggling, every family member matters—from a child of 6 to an adult of 96 and older. She is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s most intense transitions with compassion and strength, whether it’s a dementia diagnosis, the immense weight of caregiving, or the personal challenges of postpartum depression.
In her clinical practice, Layna utilizes a client-centered and strengths-based approach to address a broad spectrum of mental health concerns. She is equipped to support clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma-related conditions like PTSD, as well as bipolar and obsessive-compulsive disorders. Her practice also encompasses women’s mental health, adolescent issues, and relational challenges through couples and family counseling. She provides specialized care for geriatric issues, grief/loss, and offers services such as bariatric evaluations and behavior management for developmental disabilities. Integrating specialized training in trauma therapy and holding a Plant-Based Nutrition certification, she offers a holistic, mind-body perspective on well-being.
Layna is a therapist committed to making high-quality mental health care by creating a compassionate, non-judgmental space where individuals and families of all ages feel seen, heard, and supported. Her ability to connect with clients reflects her belief that therapy is a collaborative partnership built on trust and empathy.
Layna’s passion for this work is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to find meaning and strength, no matter how challenging their circumstances. She is committed to serving the Pensacola community by empowering individuals and families to navigate life’s most demanding transitions with confidence and grace. Through her clinical work, her purpose remains clear: to help clients not only cope with change but also discover a path toward healing and empowerment.
