About Layna Crabtree
Layna is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern specializing in dementia care and supporting individuals, couples, and families through complex transitions. She works closely with patients, caregivers, and family systems, addressing the emotional and practical challenges of dementia and caregiving. Layna provides compassionate guidance for caregiver stress, grief, depression, anxiety, and trauma. Using a client-centered, strengths-based approach, she offers individual, couples, and family therapy work to improve selfcare, couples and parent-child relationships, while also helping patients build coping skills, communication, and resilience.
Her practice encompasses caregiver mental health, couples counseling, and family therapy. She provides specialized care for geriatric issues, grief/loss, couples communication, parental-child communication and talk therapy for obesity. With a Plant-Based Nutrition certification, she integrates a holistic, mind-body approach to enhance overall well-being.
She creates a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients feel seen and heard. Believing therapy is a collaborative partnership built on trust, her passion is rooted in helping others find strength in their circumstances. She is committed to empowering individuals and families to navigate transitions and discover a path toward healing and empowerment.
