About Lauren Wilson
I’m Lauren, an Associate Therapist with a Master’s in Social Work from Southeastern University. I am currently a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern. Born and raised in Sarasota, Florida, I’ve always been drawn to helping others and making a meaningful impact in my community.
My professional background includes working with children and families experiencing grief, supporting families and youth in the child welfare system, and serving survivors of human trafficking. I have a deep passion for working with diverse populations and creating a safe, compassionate space for healing and growth.
My connection to child welfare is both professional and personal. My younger sister was adopted through the foster care system, which has shaped my lifelong commitment to advocating for children and families navigating similar journeys.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me by the ocean. The beach has always been a place of peace and reflection for me, and I carry that same sense of calm into the therapy room.
