About Krystle Ivanov

Krystle Ivanov is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She completed her master’s degree in nursing Practice for PMHNP from Chamberlain University. She obtained her bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. She has over 15 years of nursing experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric fields ranging from substance abuse treatment, adult psychiatric inpatient and outpatient care, and mental health crisis stabilization. She is passionate about being a mental health advocate and her goal is to provide holistic, quality, and comprehensive mental health services to both adolescents and adults. She has a multifaceted role of being a clinical provider, a mental health advocate, and a therapist while following a person- centered approach and evidenced- based guidelines. She has special interests in the integration of behavioral medicine, trauma- informed care, suicide prevention, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, substance abuse, and chronic mental illnesses for both adolescents and adults. She possesses strong clinical skills with over 17 years of experience as an inpatient and outpatient nurse and has received 25 Daisy Nominations for excellent nursing care. Her aim is to empower her clients through supportive education and holistic practices while providing compassionate care in a stigma free environment. In her free time, she likes to read books, go to the beach, listen to jazz or cook food for her loved ones.
