About Kenneth (Ken) Joseph Miller Jr.

I am a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who graduated with a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy from Capella University. During graduate school, I worked with couples and families as a master level intern in a private practice.

My role is to collaborate and help individuals, couples, and families establish and achieve the goals, skills, and changes they are aspiring to make in their present situation to live a healthier, fuller, and meaningful life for themselves and the people they share life with according to their personal goals, values, and beliefs.

I am excited to share and participate in this journey with you as we work together discussing, developing, learning, and implementing personalized goals, plans, and strategies to achieve your ambitions. During your session, each individual, couple, and family will receive these core values: honesty, respect, commitment, trust, openness, and attention.

Through my previous career as a teacher and most recently a collegiate soccer coach, I gained extensive experience working with adolescents, young adults, and athletes. Now as a therapist, I work with individuals across several age ranges, couples who want to build better relationships, and families who are all trying to understand one another and be in harmony. I use a variety of clinical modalities like: Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy, and other strategies to help navigate the challenges you are experiencing. I am looking forward to helping you achieve your goals and build solutions to a better life.
