About Kathy Rahman
I’m passionate about using a holistic approach to identify and address the root causes of a person’s challenges. My work focuses on sensory processing disorders, Autism, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, emotional regulation issues, and eating challenges.
In addition to traditional occupational therapy methods, I have more than seven years of experience working with the Masgutova Method (MNRI). This approach targets retained primitive reflexes, which are critical for survival in infancy but can cause difficulties in learning, behavior, social interactions, feeding, and motor skills when they persist or are triggered by trauma. I enjoy working with individuals ranging from ages 3 through adulthood, and I truly believe occupational therapy can have a profound impact on people of all ages.
My drive toward joining the occupational therapy and children’s mental health field stems from working with my daughter, who has special needs. This journey is the reason behind why my work is so personal to me, and I am extremely passionate about what I do.
