About Kara Schwartz
Hi! My name is Kara. I recently graduated and earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands and received my Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences from Florida State University.
I enjoy working with clients across the lifespan, with a particular passion for supporting teens and young adults as they navigate the challenges, changes, and opportunities that come with this stage of life. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, meaning I believe that each client is the expert on their own life. I strive to create a collaborative relationship where clients feel empowered, respected, and supported as they work toward their goals.
My goal is to provide a warm and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I am passionate about helping individuals recognize their strengths, overcome obstacles, and create lasting, positive change. I am excited to work with you!
