About Jonathan Hudik

Hello, I’m Jonathan Hudik, and I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Florida State University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

In my sessions, I take an easygoing, relaxed, and collaborative approach. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a conversation, and I focus on what you, as the client, wants to work on while helping you recognize and build on the strengths you already possess. Together, we’ll create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). While those clinical terms may sound intimidating, I believe in keeping therapy approachable and understandable. I will explain these techniques in a way that makes sense and work with you to find the tools that best fit your needs.

Throughout my career, I have worked with clients across the lifespan, including adolescents, young adults, adults, and individuals age 65 and older. I have experience helping people navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, mood regulation difficulties, and a variety of other mental health concerns. My goal is to help clients develop practical coping skills that lead to meaningful, lasting change.

Above all, I prioritize the client in every session. This is your time to focus on the goals that matter most to you—even if that means simply having a supportive conversation about what has been happening in your life.
