About John K. Erickson II

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based care. Before becoming a PMHNP, I spent five years working in critical care settings at Tampa General Hospital, where I cared for patients during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. My earlier service as a Firefighter-EMT in the U.S. military, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, shaped my steady, trauma-informed approach and deep respect for human resilience.

I truly value the connections I build with my patients and believe that feeling understood is a powerful part of healing. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment and work collaboratively to develop individualized treatment plans that align with each person’s goals and strengths. My passion is helping individuals find clarity, regain stability, and build long-term emotional wellness.
