About John Daley
John is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 20 years’ experience working with teenagers, children, and young adults, first as a lay counselor and now as a licensed counselor. He believes the first step in counseling someone is to take the time to listen to them, get to know them and what is going on with them to know what direction to go in with counseling. John has experience working with a variety of concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, mood disorders, self-esteem issues, trauma (including physical, mental, and sexual trauma), anger management, behavioral issues, and adjustment disorders. John uses aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person centered therapy, mindfulness, and other techniques as needed.
