Hello and welcome to Elite DNA.

My name is Jessica Sellman-Davis, and I am an associate therapist based out of Elite DNA’s new Ocala location. A little about myself, I am married and a mother of three (human) children and two (fur) babies 🙂 I love anything to do with arts and crafts, especially painting and hope to integrate this into practice. I graduated with an MSW from Capella University in 2024 and am excited to achieve licensure very soon. I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of people in a number of different roles, with my most recent employment as a social service counselor for a crisis stabilization unit. I have learned so much from my clients about how to be a good listener, develop trust, and to meet clients where they are at. Through my experience and education I am well-equipped to work with issues of trauma, crisis, self-harm, depression, anxiety and more. I am most passionate about working with children and teens, and understand that every person – young and old – has their own story, is walking a unique path, and requires personalized therapy to achieve their self-determined goals. I aim to be that empathetic, supportive, and safe space for all youth – not walking ahead as a leader or behind nudging you forward, but beside you – navigating the journey together. I hope to empower you to know your own strengths and abilities and to remind you that you are the greatest expert of your own life. I am so looking forward to getting to know you and beginning your journey of self-discovery, healing, and mental wellbeing.
