About Jennifer Barnes Pyle
Jennifer earned her Master of Science of Counseling and Psychology, specializing in Clinical Mental Health from Troy University. She is a military veteran and served in the United States Air Force, with a specialization in Emergency Preparedness. Prior to transitioning into the mental health sector, Jennifer worked for the public school system as an elementary-level teacher and secondary-level school counselor.
Throughout her work, Jennifer emphasizes the importance of understanding the whole person and strives to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for growth and healing. She integrates therapeutic modalities to help clients develop coping skills, challenge negative patterns, and creating lasting positive changes in their lives. Her areas of specialization include abuse/trauma, behavior management/modification, chronic and persistent illness, dementia and Alzheimer’s, relationship challenges, and LGBTQIA+.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys hiking with her German Shepherd and spending time with her family.
