About Jack Philbin

Hello, my name is Jack Philbin and I’m a mental health counselor here in South Florida. I’m passionate about working with an array of populations, such as the neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ community. As someone who identifies as part of those communities, I can empathize with what folks in those communities are experiencing in their everyday lives.

Additionally, my experience working in the mental health field has provided me the opportunity to work with all different types of clients, including those that have experienced substance abuse, OCD, trauma, sex addiction, etc. When it comes to my therapeutic approach, I lead with a client-centered mentality in order to meet my client’s needs. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Adlerian therapy, and Gestalt therapy when working with clients.

Overall, I want my clients to know that being themselves is enough. I also want to emphasize the importance of investing in yourself when it comes to your well-being. I’m looking forward to uplifting my clients and making them feel valued.
