About Ivan Mazzorana Jr.

Ivan Mazzorana Jr., MD is a Board Certified Adult and Geriatric psychiatrist, member of the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology, and member of the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry. Dr. Mazzorana completed his residency training at St. Vincent’s Hospital, in Staten Island, New York, where he was Chief Resident. Upon completing his training in New York, Dr. Mazzorana relocated to Florida and furthered his education by sub-specializing in geriatric psychiatry, at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami. In 2014, Dr. Mazzorana was bestowed the honor of Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. This status reflects many years of dedication and contribution to the practice and field of psychiatry.

Dr. Mazzorana has held several positions of distinction in our community, including forensic examiner for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit of Florida, Probate Division. Over the years, Dr. Mazzorana has been privileged to served in the capacity of Chief Medical Officer for several behavioral centers in our community.

It is with great enthusiasm in which Dr. Mazzorana continues to provide mental health services to the resident of Lee County. In his mission of providing such care, Dr. Mazzorana is joined by a very caring and talented team of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and Licensed Clinical Social Workers.
