Gregg Halverson is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family nurse practitioner in the state of Florida who is knowledgeable, passionate, and has strong clinical skills.

Gregg establishes a welcoming environment that is inclusive to all patients. He strongly believes in a holistic, patient-centered, and collaborative approach to delivering psychiatric and mental health treatment to improve his patient’s quality of life. He strives to achieve his patient’s goals towards a meaningful and healthy lifestyle. Specialties include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, sleep disorders, stress and PTSD.

Gregg navigated his career into mental health after serving in the United States Navy, dedicating life-saving skills as a firefighter, delivering optimal medical care as a paramedic, and making sound decisions as an emergency room nurse. He had the opportunity to work at one of the highest trauma centers and the nation’s busiest emergency departments and comprehensive mental health departments in Florida. Over the past 20 years, Gregg has experience working with diverse individuals, providing quality of care to all, while continuing to serve veterans requiring medical examinations.

Gregg graduated from Florida Southern College with a Master of Nursing in Family Medicine. He completed a post-Masters certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Florida State University. To best serve his patients, Gregg utilizes evidence-based medication management towards ultimate psychiatric and mental health medical care.
