About Farah Coffin

Farah is a passionate clinician who grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to Florida in 2013 from the Baltimore area. After the birth of her oldest child, she left her career in restaurant/bar management to be a stay-at-home mother.

During the COVID-19 shutdown, Farah was encouraged by her academically motivated younger sister to pursue an advanced degree and apply her natural skills to work in mental health. Fewer than 2 years later, she had completed her Bachelor of Arts in Clinical and Counseling Psychology, given birth to her second child, and enrolled in the Master of Social Work program at Saint Leo University. By the middle of the first semester, Farah understood that this was the work she was meant to do.

Her specialties include adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, ADHD, childhood/relationship trauma and more. She has worked closely with the Pasco County criminal justice/juvenile justice system to coordinate behavioral services for individuals on probation or at risk of incarceration. She is comfortable working with people of all ages and strives to maintain a trusting and judgment-free therapeutic atmosphere.

She would be honored and humbled to support you in your journey of growth and healing.
