About Evren Kozanlioglu

Evren Kozanlioglu earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of West Florida and is dedicated to helping individuals achieve improved mental health, personal growth, and overall well-being. Drawing from both her clinical training and extensive military experience, Evren provides compassionate, client-centered care to individuals across the lifespan.

Evren has worked therapeutically with Veterans and military populations, helping them navigate a variety of life challenges, transitions, and mental health concerns. Her military background allows her to build strong therapeutic connections with Veterans through a shared understanding of military culture, service-related experiences, and the unique challenges many service members and their families face.

Evren also has experience working as a Child Therapist, providing counseling services to children and adolescents ages 5 to 19. She has supported clients experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, emotional and behavioral challenges, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Through a warm and individualized approach, she helped young clients develop coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and build confidence in their daily lives.

Evren enjoys working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds and does not limit her practice to any specific population. She believes that every client brings a unique story, set of strengths, and life experiences into the therapeutic process. Her approach is grounded in the belief that clients are the experts on their own lives. As a therapist, her role is to listen, support, guide, and collaborate with clients as they work toward their personal goals.

Known for her ability to establish rapport quickly, Evren prioritizes creating a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves. She believes that meaningful therapeutic change begins when clients feel heard, respected, and understood. Her goal is for every client to leave each session feeling supported, empowered, and hopeful about their journey forward.

In addition to her clinical experience, Evren brings a multicultural perspective to her practice. She is fluent in both Turkish and German and has lived in multiple countries throughout her life. These experiences have given her a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and a strong understanding of how culture, traditions, values, and life experiences shape an individual’s identity and worldview. Her international background allows her to work effectively with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds while remaining sensitive to the unique role that family traditions, cultural beliefs, and personal values play in the therapeutic process.

Evren is committed to walking alongside her clients with empathy, authenticity, and compassion, helping them navigate challenges, build resilience, and move toward lasting emotional wellness and recovery.
