About Emily Mae Campbell

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I offer a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach to therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and couples. I specialize in working with trauma, PTSD, complex trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating both single-incident trauma and long-standing relational or developmental trauma, helping clients safely process painful memories and reduce the emotional intensity that continues to impact their daily lives. My work is grounded in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and parts-work informed interventions.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that healing happens in safe, attuned relationships. I strive to create a space where clients feel deeply seen and understood. Together, we gently explore patterns, process painful experiences, and build new ways of responding that feel more aligned and empowering.

As an artist and yogi, I naturally integrate creativity, somatic awareness, and expressive techniques into my sessions when appropriate. I believe emotions live not just in our thoughts, but in our bodies and stories. Whether through structured trauma reprocessing with EMDR, attachment-based couples work, or helping a child develop emotional regulation skills, my goal is to help clients reconnect with their inner resilience and sense of self.

Therapy with me is both grounded and human. I value compassion, communication, and curiosity, and I tailor each session to the unique needs of the individual, couple, or family in front of me. My hope is that clients leave therapy not only with practical tools for managing anxiety, trauma, or conflict, but with a deeper trust in themselves and their capacity for meaningful change.
