About Elizabeth Khanov-Lubleva
Elizabeth Khanov-Lubleva, PhD (RMHCI), is a trauma therapist with more than 15 years of experience helping children, families, and adults heal from PTSD, anxiety, and depression. She is a certified therapist in EMDR and Trauma-Focused CBT, using these evidence-based approaches to help clients overcome trauma and improve their mental well-being.
Prior to joining Elite DNA, Elizabeth worked as a Trauma Recovery Outpatient Therapist in a local group practice, focusing on supporting immigrant families and underserved communities dealing with trauma, family challenges, domestic violence, and mental health struggles. Being fluent in both Russian and English, she ensures that her clients feel understood and respected in their cultural backgrounds.
Before moving to the U.S., Elizabeth worked as a Clinical Psychologist in Russia, where she helped children and families through difficult life events and taught psychology at the university level. She earned her Doctorate in Psychology from the University of the Russian Academy of Education and continues to pursue advanced training in trauma therapy techniques.
Elizabeth’s passion is to make mental health care more accessible and to reduce the stigma around seeking help, especially for immigrant and minority communities.
