About Destiny Lyals

Hello! I’m Destiny Lyals, and I am a licensed mental health counselor born and raised in Florida. I have experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds, as well as with couples. I utilize elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy to walk alongside my clients in their therapy journey. I enjoy exploring my clients’ creativity, humor, and self-expression, incorporating them into therapy.

Prior to joining Elite DNA, I worked with youth in Therapeutic Foster Care and served in the public school system as a Guidance Counselor and Mental Health Liaison. I have a passion for ending mental health stigma and promoting mental health in African-American and LGBTQIA+ communities.
