Denise Sanfilippo

 Denise has been a practitioner of the healing arts for over 10 years, she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is trained in numerous therapy modalities including EDMR, DBT, and Traumatic Incident Reduction. She believes therapy should be a collaborative partnership between the patient and therapist. Understanding the effects of trauma and how it relates to our behavior and social functioning can be a powerful tool for healing the wounds of the past. Her empathy and passion are seen in her treatment approach for those who have experienced trauma, struggling with anxiety, depression, and more.  All the treatment modalities she uses are trauma-informed and patient-centered because building the therapeutic relationship is key in the healing journey.
