About Dena Ruiz

My approach to mental health starts by being a good listener and build a therapeutic relationship between myself and the client using holistic, compassionate, evidence-based care. I meet you where you are and together we work towards emotional wellness.

As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I am qualified to provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and psychotherapeutic interventions to patients across the lifespan (children, adolescents, and adults). My years of experience in women’s health and in-patient crisis intervention hospital has prepared me to treat a vast array of mental health issues.

One of my compassions in mental health, is to help women mentally in all stages of their life, especially those in the profession of nursing. I know the challenges that women face in life and in nursing. I love my profession and have found my true calling in life.
