About Darcy Coleman

Darcy Coleman has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the State of Florida since 2002, and she is a graduate of the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is a founding member and prior President of the Pasco Mental Health Foundation and supports equal access to mental health services for the community. She has also served as Chair for the Juvenile Justice Council for three years, providing support for our youth in the community.

Holistic wellness is the foundation for Darcy’s philosophy in healing, both professionally and personally, restoring optimal health to the mind, body and spirit.

With a passion for overall wellness, she provides therapeutic services with a focus on the treatment of Trauma, Anxiety, Grief and Depression through behavioral health models including CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, Somatic, and Applied Behavior Therapy. Additionally, she is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
She served as a lead Crisis Response professional and has studied behavior as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional in PREPaRe Crisis Response and Trauma-Informed Care. She also has experience in Recognizing and Responding to Suicidal Risk through the American Association of Suicidology, Critical Incident Stress Management Group Crisis Intervention and as a Crisis Prevention Intervention Trainer and Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainer.

Darcy is a Reiki Master and embraces Reiki philosophies, yoga, kayaking and the healing properties of nature.
