About Danielle Shadeed

Life is complicated enough. Therapy shouldn’t be another thing that feels overwhelming. I want this to be the place where you can come in exactly as you may feel: messy, unsure, frustrated, hopeful, exhausted, or all of the above. You don’t have to know what to say before you get here, and you definitely don’t have to have everything figured out. Sometimes people come in with a list of things they want to work on. Other times they just know they can’t keep doing life the way they’ve been doing it. Either way, we’ll figure it out together.

I tend to be pretty laid back, but I’m also honest. I’ll listen, I’ll ask questions that make you think, and I’ll probably notice patterns you haven’t noticed yet. I’ll cheer you on when you’re making progress, and I’ll gently call you out when something is getting in your own way. I don’t believe therapy has to feel cold or overly formal to be effective. Some sessions are emotional. Some are full of laughter. Most are a little bit of both. At the end of the day, I want you to feel like you’re talking to a real person who genuinely cares about what happens in your life.

No two people walk through my door with the same story, so I don’t believe in cookie cutter therapy. We’ll work together to understand what’s keeping you stuck, build on the strengths you already have, and find practical ways to create the kind of life and relationships you actually want, not the ones you think you’re supposed to have. My goal isn’t to give you all the answers. It’s to help you trust yourself enough to find them. If you’re looking for a therapist who’s approachable, engaged, and willing to meet you where you are, I’d love to connect. Therapy can be hard work, but it can also be one of the best investments you make in yourself.
