About Daniel Weinberg, MD
I graduated from Albany Medical college in 2005. I did my internship and residency at the University of Florida. I have worked with many different populations; both inpatient and outpatient. I have worked for profit and non-for-profit facilities. During covid, I was a frontline psychiatrist at an acute psychiatric hospital seeing patients in person. I have worked as a medical director as well as a chief medical officer.
Currently, my focus is stepping back into a non-leadership role and putting 90% of my time into patient care. I specialize in mood disorders, psychosis, and PTSD. I have already published a book called, “A Little left of Center,” Wading through the mind of your friendly neighborhood psychiatrist. The book allows readers to be a fly on the wall as I discuss difficult diseases with patients and the treatment. It covers all areas of psychiatry. I am currently working on a second book titled, “Empath.” How racism, antisemitism, and a Satanic Cult made me a psychiatrist.
I am a husband and a father. My family means everything to me. I currently enjoy going to swim meets on the weeks. I also continue to play soccer in regular leagues. My hobby is metal detecting beaches.
