About Dagmara Pupkowski

Hi, my name is Dagmara (Daga) Pupkowski, and I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in the State of Florida. I help children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, family conflict, and emotional regulation challenges. I offer both in-person and virtual therapy sessions for clients throughout Florida.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or carrying unresolved pain, I provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and valued. Together, we’ll build healthy coping skills, strengthen your confidence, and create a greater sense of calm and balance.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered, grounded in evidence-based practices. I tailor each session to your unique needs, helping you explore your experiences, build resilience, and develop practical tools to manage life’s challenges. My goal is to empower you to achieve meaningful, lasting change and reach your personal goals.

Life can feel overwhelming, and it’s okay to acknowledge when it’s too much to handle alone. Reaching out for support is a courageous first step toward healing. Whether you’re ready to begin therapy or simply exploring your options, I invite you to take the next step. I’m here to support you whenever you’re ready.

I am a dedicated and compassionate therapist committed to providing high-quality mental health care for children, adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, and families. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Walden University. I am passionate about creating a warm, supportive environment where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood.

My therapeutic approach is guided by three core principles: collaboration, consistency, and connection. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship creates the foundation for healing, personal growth, and lasting change. Every session is tailored to meet each client’s unique developmental stage, strengths, and emotional needs.

I have specialized training in Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Anger Management, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I work with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, including:

Anxiety and depression
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Emotional dysregulation and behavioral challenges
Trauma and domestic violence recovery
Relationship and family conflict

I have a special passion for helping children express difficult emotions through creative, play-based interventions, guiding adolescents as they explore identity and build self-confidence, and supporting couples in strengthening communication and rebuilding connection. My trauma-informed, expressive, and evidence-based approach helps clients develop resilience, emotional awareness, and practical skills that promote long-term well-being.
