About Carisa Peeples

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care in a supportive and judgment-free environment. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, and other mental health concerns, creating individualized treatment plans tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals.

Before becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I spent more than 17 years in healthcare, with experience in emergency psychiatry, inpatient behavioral health, crisis stabilization, and nursing education. I believe the best outcomes come from building trusting relationships where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care.

My goal is to help patients develop the tools they need to improve their mental health, build resilience, and create lasting, meaningful change.
