About Camelia Francisc

Since starting practicing as a therapist, Cami has developed an eclectic (integrative) therapeutic approach to psychotherapy. This multicultural, multidimensional, and integrated approach to treatment is helping clients address their struggles related to trauma, relationships, acculturation, and mental health in a safe and warm therapeutic environment. Cami primarily works with teenager, adolescents, adults and elderly populations.

As an EMDRIA-trained therapist, Cami provides Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to clients. Cami also utilizes integrated techniques, drawing mainly from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Systems, mindfulness, and spirituality.

Cami’s therapeutic philosophy envisions the counselor working in partnership with the client to help identify, clarify, and create a clear treatment plan to achieve the client’s desired outcomes. Cami strongly encourages the client’s self-discovery and growth while fostering their own accountability to increase productivity in achieving their goals.
