About Audrea Mendiola
As a supervisee in clinical social work, Audrea Mendiola is deeply committed to creating a space where individuals and families feel seen, understood, and supported. She brings a compassionate and down-to-earth presence to her work, recognizing that reaching out for help can feel both vulnerable and courageous.
Audrea earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Guam and her Master of Social Work through the Advanced Standing program at Walden University. She has experience in behavioral health, case management, crisis response, healthcare advocacy, and community-based services, providing her with the opportunity to connect with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds and across all stages of life.
Audrea has a strong clinical foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based practices, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. She incorporates these approaches by integrating various modalities to fit each individual’s unique needs, ensuring that care feels both personalized and effective.
She has experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, PTSD, and relationship challenges. Audrea understands that each person’s story is different and believes in meeting clients exactly where they are—without judgment, and with genuine curiosity, empathy, and respect.
Her approach is rooted in cultural humility and a holistic perspective that considers the many factors shaping a person’s well-being. Audrea strives to build strong, trusting relationships with her clients by fostering a safe, collaborative environment where they feel comfortable expressing themselves openly.
She is passionate about helping individuals deepen their self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, build resilience, and move toward a more balanced, fulfilling, and authentic life.
