About AnnaMaria Cuebas

Hi, I’m AnnaMaria Cuebas, an Associate Therapist with a Master’s degree in Social Work from St. Catherine University. I work with children, teens, adults, and families, and I’m passionate about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where people feel heard, understood, and empowered.

I became a therapist because I want to provide support for individuals and families who may not always have easy access to mental health care, especially those from communities where mental health is still stigmatized. Growing up in a culture where in a culture where seeking help wasn’t always encouraged, I understand how hard it can be to take that first step. My goal is to offer a space that feels safe, validating, and inclusive.

My approach is grounded in compassion, cultural humility, and a belief in each person’s capacity to grow and heal. I’ve completed training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), grief counseling, and integrative psychotherapy. I draw from these modalities to tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs.

I have experience supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. I also work with children on the autism spectrum and their families, with a focus on communication, emotional regulation, and strengthening family dynamics. I use a systems-informed lens and value collaboration with caregivers and loved ones when appropriate.

Whether you’re navigating stress, processing big emotions, or seeking more connection and clarity in your life, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy and care
