About Andy Meneses

Hi, I am Andy. I was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador, and moved to the US to pursue my education at Biola University where I got my bachelors while playing sports as an NCAA student athlete. Previous to earning my masters degree, I worked in the marketing field as well as sports field coaching young athletes in high school and college level. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a concentration in Trauma & Crisis.

My experience includes providing individual and group therapy in both impatient treatment and university counseling settings, where I have worked with athletes and patients from diverse backgrounds and at different stages of life. I have had the privilege of working with individuals facing a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, addiction and injury recovery, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, among others. As an EMDR trained clinician, I also work with patients with a PTSD diagnosis.
In addition to my clinical work, I continue to serve as a coach and mentor to athletes in the palm beach county area.

As someone who has experienced the challenges of adapting to a new culture and navigating significant life transitions, I understand the importance of having a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where patients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. Being a student athlete and coach has deepened my appreciation for collaboration, resilience, perseverance, responsibility, and the value of strong, meaningful relationships. This is what I bring to our sessions.

Outside of the office, I enjoy staying active through fitness, sports, making music, reading, church, and quality time with friends and family.
