About Amanda Flower
Hi, I’m Amanda, and I’m so glad you’re here!
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and finding the right therapist is an important part of the healing process. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted while also feeling supported to grow. I believe meaningful change happens through a collaborative relationship built on trust, compassion, and honesty. While I strive to meet you with warmth and understanding, I also believe that healing often requires gentle challenge. Together, we’ll explore patterns that may no longer be serving you, develop new ways of coping, and work toward creating a life that feels more aligned with who you want to be.
My approach is integrative because I recognize that every person’s story is unique. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor therapy to your individual needs, drawing from evidence-based approaches including trauma informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mindfulness-Based Interventions. Whether you’re processing past experiences, navigating current stressors, or working toward personal growth, I aim to help you build greater self-awareness, resilience, and self-compassion.
I have clinical experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma and PTSD, difficult relationship dynamics, behavioral challenges, and life transitions or adjustment-related difficulties. I understand that seeking support takes courage, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they move toward healing and lasting change.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a mother to four young boys who continually remind me about resilience, flexibility, and finding joy in life’s everyday moments. In my free time, you’ll often find me spending time with my family, creating art, taking walks, spending time at the beach, or getting lost in a good book. These moments help keep me grounded and reinforce my belief that healing isn’t only about overcoming challenges—it’s also about reconnecting with the parts of ourselves that bring us peace, purpose, and fulfillment.
I would be honored to be part of your journey.
