About Amanda Brown

My name is Amanda Brown. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a PsyD in Behavioral Health Leadership. I have more than 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field. My primary experience has been working with children and adolescents in residential and outpatient settings; however, I also see young adults. I specialize in behavior issues, anger management, school/work issues, depression, anxiety, self-harm, and developmental disabilities. My hope is to further my career and experience in counseling, while providing supervision to new counselors for their licensure. While I have lived in Florida for more than two decades, I was born and raised in Michigan. I only like snow in the pictures. My husband and two teenage boys are most important to me, and they constantly challenge me to be a better version of myself. In my spare time, I like to read, watch TV (anything fictional), and spend time with my family, taking on new adventures.
